The nitty gritty: my LinkedIn profile
Who I am, what I do
For over a decade, my experiences have allowed me to design, direct and lead projects ranging from immersive websites, interface design for iPhone & iPad, interactive Flash environments to communications design for publishing and print. This year, my self-initiated mobile-app project Secret Signs was a finalist in the Victorian Government's App My State competition. Two books that I designed were recently nominated for the Australian Publishers’ Association Book Design of the Year Award. My work has received critical acclaim in the Australian press, and has won an award in the British press. I have also been recognised as an outstanding graphic artist (Southern England Artist of the Year Award). I was recently commissioned to write an article on the importance of interactives in the museum environment.
In a nutshell
I currently work as a senior designer at a leading Melbourne publishing and media company. I have a over ten years of studio experience in both the UK and Australia, and an honours degree in graphic design from a highly regarded university in England. I have worked on a number of high-profile assignments for prestigious clients that include the Australian Football League, the National Sports Museum, Netball Australia and Historic Royal Palaces.
